Fort Mitchell is a fully restored historical site in Russell County.
The Fort Mitchell Visitors Center offers a video and
a walk-through museum abundant in local history.
The 1813 Fort and Crowell-Whitaker Cabin are open for touring.
Fort Mitchell is located
10 miles south of Phenix City, Ala., on Highway 165N.
The fort is open Monday through Saturday from
10 a.m to 5 p.m. and
Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m.
The admission fee for entering the historic site is:
$6 for adults, $5 for military and $4 for students.
Children under 5 are admitted free.

Bi-City Christmas Parade
Each year, on the second Saturday in December, Santa gets to come to Phenix City. This year's event promises to be the  Best and Biggest parade ever with hundreds of floats from around the region.

Santa's elves have been busy decorating The RiverWalk, the Amphitheater and spreading Christmas cheer all around town.
Join us on DEC. 1 at 6:30 p.m. at the Amphitheater for a fun filled evening of live entertainment followed by the lighting of  the RiverWalk and FIREWORKS!  Bring a blanket to sit on, dress warm and plan to have FUN. Free hot chocolate for the little ones and a SURPRISE VISITOR from the NORTH POLE will help us usher in the season.
